Turning the tables - into something wonderful!

Turning the tables - into something wonderful!

It seems that tables may be like buses – you wait ages and then three arrive together!!  But we were delighted to get to work on a trio of very different table based projects in our South London workshop last month.

Office working

First up we fabricated a 4.5 x 1.5m ash veneer office tabletop with matching lids to a cable flap housing a power block module. The size of the table allows plenty of room for social distancing and the matching cable flaps and hidden power block housing keep it all looking neat and professional.

Back to life

Our second project was for a client with a coffee table (that term may be doing it an injustice!) that provided a stunning centre piece to her living room.  Sadly, the veneer on one end of the table had started to lift and peel.  Which looked unsightly and was also a possible hazard for people brushing past the table.

We were able to replace the offending part of the table with oak veneer on MDF to bring a new lease of life to this much-loved piece of furniture.

Waste not want not

And finally, we supplied some stunning ply worktops for a client’s kitchen project.  The green Formica finish provides an incredibly hardwearing surface and the ply edges were left as a feature.  Plus the client was able to use the offcuts too – as matching shelves.

At Perfect Panels we can cut all manner of boards to size and offer a huge range of finishes including  laminates and spraying.  And our nesting software keeps wastage to an absolute minimum!  We can also provide a bespoke CNC cutting service and are able to line bore, drill and shape panels for your projects.  For example, we can cut hinge holes, finger pulls and shape things like the cable flaps in the ash veneer table top we talked about earlier.

We offer a range of board types for your project, from plywood to MDF and MFCs, with over 300 decors to choose from and search and filter facilities to help you find the boards you need.  Why not visit our website to see if we can help with your next project?
